Chole Graduates

This week (right after my Gillette road trip, which you should make sure to read about below) my little sister Chloe graduated from high school. I spelled her name wrong on purpose in the title because they spelled her name wrong in the program and in her yearbook, and it was always in different ways: Chole, Clhoe, and the right way, which is Chloe.

Rob and Chloe, or "Cloisters" as he calls her. These two are great old buddies. They really have a cute relationship and I've always been happy that they're so close, so I really love this picture.

My grandma, me, Chloe, my lovely mama, and my other grandma. I thought this was a neat picture. I don't think I have another one like it from any other occasion.

It's been awhile since I've taken a "baby bump" shot (I really hate that expression, but there's really nothing better to call it unfortunately) so here I am at almost 25 weeks. This is my favorite maternity shirt, by the way. Bless you, Target. I wanted Rob to take another picture so I could have two to choose from, and this is what I got:

I was trying to flip my hair out of my face, but instead I look like a crazy diva. Rob likes this one better, so I'll post it in his honor.

Anyway, back to the star of the show, Miss Chloe. She graduated from my alma mater, dear old Jordan High. She was the 100th graduating class from Jordan, which meant the graduation was unfortunately held downtown and was super long and boring as all graduations are. Sorry Chloe, no offense. I was just as bored at my own two graduations.

Afterwards we went to Olive Garden with all the family and then back to the house for cake and presents. This is what we got for her:

I made her this little owl pillow. I wasn't super happy with how it turned out, but it's quirky and scrappy and kind of fun. We both love owls and I wanted to make something for her since she's redoing her room this summer. I think she liked it. I also got her a book, in true Vienna fashion; it was a cute Curious George graduation book.

Congratulations Chloe! You've got some awesome years ahead of you. I'm excited for our California trip starting in two days!!!
