It was wonderful to see Baby G again, although the little stink wouldn't show her face! Both hands covering the face. I guess she's just determined to make sure she's a surprise when we meet her. Also, she was very sleepy, which makes me think she's just too content in there to be bothered with the effort of being born. Guess she'll just come when she's good and ready!
Rob and I went on a date tonight, since it might be the last chance we get to go out before our sweetie is born. When we got back home I wanted of course to take a 40 week photo. As per usual, I wasn't very happy with the pictures so far and kept making him take more. He then said I was being vain and that it didn't matter and took the following picture of himself to prove his point:
Then I started laughing hysterically and he proceeded to take pictures of me laughing, which did not turn out any better than the first ones he took, but it was a funny moment.
I know this looks fake and super cheesy, but I really was laughing hysterically. Also, in the process of these first pictures I realized that the horizontal stripes were not a great idea at 40 weeks pregnant. So, since I am "super vain" about these pictures, I had him take a couple more after I'd changed. (P.S. Sneak peek of the nursery above! It's all finished, as of last night, and I'm pretty darn excited for it's big reveal, so look for that in a day or two, unless my baby's born before then.)
So here's Baby G on her due date. I would like her to be born tomorrow, on the first day of fall, but who knows.
Speaking of cheesy.... Hooray for Baby G!! Come out soon Little Missy! We can't wait to see you!

Heaven knows I'm rooting for tomorrow!!! Plus, Autumnal Equinox is the name of the whitish color in our bedroom and will be on our main level, so it makes it even cooler.
You aren't vain!! :) I think we all feel self conscience when we take pregnant pictures. I know I look back on some of mine and go "ew" It's nice to have a pretty picture of yourself, so keep taking them until you are happy.
For the record - I love the laughing one.
You are awesome to have such a good attitude!! D was my baby that I went the longest with. I was induced at 39 weeks. I'm such a wimp.... Claire was 2 weeks early on her own and Linus was 3 weeks early on his own, so I was unprepared for the long wait!! Next time I'll be braver and wait until 40+ weeks if my baby decides to stay in that long again.
I love that you were faithful in taking pictures. I sure didn't...
Also for what its worth... Going to movie after you have the baby is fantastic. The loud noises seemed to put mine right to sleep and I could sit oh so comfortably with that baby in my arms, not in my body :)
GOOD LUCK!!! It's worth the wait!
DARLING! I love the picture of you laughing it's so cute! I LOVE your nursery, can't wait to see it all finished. OH I hope she comes soon, i just want to meet her. Hopefully she'll come soon and on her own, but if not, you'll both do great wednesday night!
