I dressed her up in her little Halloween outfit for the occasion. By the way, she's been smiling for real for the past little while and it is delightful.
When I was still pregnant I bought her these little skeleton jammies, both because they are super cute and also to serve as a back up plan in case I didn't finish making her Halloween costume. I ended up finishing her costume, but she still wore her jammies for part of Halloween day.Are you ready to see Miss Magnolie's costume? Here it is.....

She was The Very Hungry Caterpillar!!! I saw something like this online and I thought it would be the perfect costume for a tiny new baby; not to fussy and comfy enough that she wouldn't mind being snuggled up in it. So I decided to try to make my own version, and it worked out great. She seemed to like it just fine, and we couldn't get over how cute she was in it.

We spent the evening with some great friends, eating pizza and treats and hanging out.
Our friends Josh and Ashley were there too, but I don't have a picture with them. We all had a grand old time, except I was lame and wouldn't let them watch a good scary movie because I'm a baby and won't watch them. Sorry guys.
Matching skeleton jammies!
Happy Halloween from us to you! Now I've got to get back to eating leftover candy. We hardly had any trick or treaters, so there's plenty to be had.

That was a great Halloween wasn't it?! It was so fun hanging out with you guys all day, thanks for coming over and joining in all the fun! She was the cutest little baby ever, her costume was amazing, I didn't realize you just made up the pattern! Sheesh, amazing! Seriously, sell those you'll be rich!
Oh I can't get over how cute she is in her costume either! I was thinking that she could totally pull off that hat year round. Violet totally makes the perfect Pebbles!!!!
Also, don't worry, I don't like scary movies either. We watched Hocus Pocus.
We were so excited to actually get trick or treaters this year, but we didn't get as many as we thought we would. It was still so fun having the few that we did though!!!
Oh my goodness! What an adorable costume! I seriously pulled Bryan over to look at your blog. "Look, look!" I gushed. "Isn't she the most adorable caterpillar you've ever seen?!" You are so amazingly talented!
That costume is really sweet Vienna!
It was so fun! And it's ok about the scary movie, I didn't want to watch either... I probably would've watched if you hadn't said anything though cause I'm a pushover. Then I wouldn't have slept for the next six years. So thanks.
And I agree! Love Nolie's costume. It was darling and she's a gem--ha!
I love both of Nolie's costumes. They look adorable, especially the one you made. You are so creative. She just keeps getting prettier with every picture I see!
I keep coming to this post to stare at the picture of Nolie smiling. I can't get over how cute she is and how much she looks like you, especially in that picture!
