This is Nolie and her friend, Mr. Owl. She loves him. I've been introducing a few toys when we play and he is by far her favorite. He makes a nice jingling sound when you shake him or bump him, and lately I've suspected that she figured out that if she kicks him, he will make noise. Today this was confirmed, because she was kicking him like crazy and having a grand old time. It was SO adorable and we loved watching her learn something new.
There she sat for quite a long time, kicking her little owlie and gurgling happily all the while...
Then for some reason she started to get upset. WAY upset, seeing as she hardly ever cries, and she was all of the sudden crying. Maybe Mr. Owl was being mean? ...
...I think she just wanted to be snuggled by her mama.

Aw! That is so adorable! She's a strong little kicker! My babies just sat and stared at me at that age. :)
