Two Months!

On the 29th our little Magnolia turned two months old! I can't believe she's so big; she's just growing far too fast for my liking. Though I do love to watch her grow and change every day and to see all the new things she's learning.

Today was her two-month checkup and she is just perfect. She weighed in at 12 lbs and was 24 inches long; 80% for weight and 95% for height, so she's just growing like a weed! She's already been in 3 month clothes for awhile, and even some of those are too short. I don't think I have enough 6 month clothes on hand, so I guess I'll have to do some shopping after Christmas, which is fine by me, as I'm fairly addicted to buying baby clothes.

She had to get her shots and it was horrid. I was a little nervous about them but I figured she'd be okay because she seldom cries and usually once I pick her up she stops. Oh my gosh. Those shots were horrendous. She cried and cried and got all red in the face and it was so hard to watch because it's probably the most she's ever cried, and right before she got them she was all smiley and cute. I even cried a little myself and I didn't think I would. I was so upset I left her blankie in the room so the nurse had to bring it out to me and I'm sure she thought I was a big old idiot. So hopefully I do better next time we have shots.

Magnolia decided to celebrate her little birthday by sleeping through the night last night, which was, in a word, awesome. She went to bed around 10:00, which is early for her, and slept til 7:30. I hope this continues; her doctor said he thought she probably would keep sleeping like that regularly, which would be fab. I moved her out of her cradle in our bedroom to her crib in the nursery like a week ago and I think that has helped. I was actually pretty sad about it; I loved having her sleep in our room because then I knew I'd always wake up and be able to get her right away. But she is a super noisy sleeper and so Rob wasn't sleeping well and I think her crib is more comfy. Plus I had to make the switch sometime, or she'd be in our room 'til she was 18 or something.

Nolie has got to be one of the sweetest and easiest babies ever. She hardly ever cries. She loves to coo and jabber away and she loves to look around at everything. She will smile at everyone and is such a lovey. She loves to eat her hands and is very fond of blowing bubbles and slobbering these days. We think she just keeps getting cuter every day and we love our little girl. Happy little birthday Nolie!

So that's our little update, now Miss Nolie is going to help me decorate our Christmas tree.

P.S. Sorry for my excessive blogging lately. Since she's gone to bed earlier these past few nights, I haven't known what to do with myself, hence three posts in three days. Maybe I should clean my house instead. Probably won't.

Dude, Adam started sleeping better when I made him go farther away too. And Nolie is just the shiz. Again, I'm sorry that you guys had a hard time of the shots.
